Questions about plans and billing
Is there really a free plan?
Yes. The Free plan runs 3 campaigns live at once and includes the core discount engine: volume and cart-goal discounts, scheduling, the live simulator, the basic widgets, and 30-day analytics. Drafting is unlimited and no card is required to install. Paid plans unlock more discount types, AI, and scale, they are the premium layer on top of a free core.
Do you charge based on my revenue or orders?
Never. Pricing is flat, we never bill on your revenue, order count, or catalog size. A store doing 10 orders a month and one doing 10,000 on the same plan pay the same price.
What counts against my plan?
Only campaigns that are currently live. Drafts, scheduled, paused, and archived campaigns never count, and you can create as many campaigns as you like on any plan. Your plan sets two things: how many campaigns run live at once, and which discount types and features you can publish. You can always configure anything and save it as a draft.
What happens if I downgrade?
Downgrading is non-destructive. Campaigns already live keep running even if you are over the new plan's limit; only new activations beyond the limit are blocked, with an upgrade prompt. We never silently switch off a live discount when you change plans.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every paid plan includes a 7-day free trial with no charge until it ends. Cancel anytime before it does and you are not billed. The Free plan needs no trial, it is free forever.
Can I run more than 25 campaigns live at once?
No. 25 live automatic discounts is Shopify's hard platform limit, so Pro tops out there. We never rewrite your product prices to fake exceeding it, which is the mechanism behind competitors' price-revert problems.
How does billing work?
Through Shopify's managed billing. Your Stackable plan appears as a line item on your regular Shopify invoice, with no separate payment method to manage. Change plans or cancel anytime, and Shopify prorates the difference automatically.
