My widget is not showing

A widget that renders nothing is almost always one of four things: it is not enabled in the theme, no campaign is live, the campaign does not target that product, or the campaign’s widget toggle is off.

Widgets are deliberately quiet: when nothing should show, they render nothing at all, no empty box. So "not showing" usually means one of the conditions below is not met. Work through them in order; the first three cover nearly every case.

1. Is the widget enabled in the theme you are viewing?

The tier table, badge, and countdown are blocks you add to your product template; the progress bar and gift auto-add come from the app embed you toggle on. Check the Widgets page in the app: it shows a live "enabled on your theme" status per widget and a link that opens the theme editor at the right spot.

Note

If you recently switched or published a different theme, the widgets need enabling on that theme too. Each theme keeps its own blocks and embed settings, and a preview of an unpublished theme shows that theme’s settings, not your live one’s.

2. Is the campaign actually live?

On your published storefront, widgets only draw content for live campaigns. A draft, scheduled, paused, or ended campaign shows nothing to shoppers. Check the campaign’s status in the app: a scheduled campaign starts showing when its start time passes, and an ended one stops. If the status says blocked, your plan’s live-campaign limit is full; pause another campaign or upgrade to free a slot.

Note

Checking inside the theme editor instead?

The theme editor is more forgiving: it previews draft, scheduled, and paused campaigns too, with a small pill naming the campaign and its status, so you can check your setup before you go live. See Previewing campaigns in the theme editor for how that works. If even a draft or paused campaign is not previewing there, work through the same targeting and toggle checks below, and confirm the draft has every required field filled in.

3. Does the campaign target this product?

Product-page widgets match the product you are viewing against the campaign’s targeting, exactly as checkout does. A campaign scoped to a collection shows only on products in that collection; an excluded product shows nothing even if it is in a targeted collection. Open the campaign’s Products step and confirm the product you are testing is inside the scope and not on the exclude list.

4. Is the widget turned on for that campaign?

The tier table and badge have per-campaign switches on the campaign’s Display step, so one campaign can show a table while another stays quiet. The countdown appears only for campaigns with an end date in the future. The progress bar and gift auto-add need a live spend-based campaign (Cart Goal, Free Shipping, or Free Gift).

Still nothing?

  • A just-published campaign can take a moment to reach the storefront; refresh the product page.
  • The progress bar hides itself in foreign-currency carts on purpose; test in your store currency.
  • If several campaigns match one product, the matching campaign that was created first (the oldest in the app) supplies the tier table or badge, so the one you expect may be behind another. Pause the other to confirm.
