Fixed-price Shopify bundles that stay in sync with your catalog

Fixed-price Shopify bundles today mean a static bundle product: a fixed list of specific variants at a fixed price that breaks the moment your catalog changes. Stackable is building bundles that stay in sync with the collections and tags that define them instead. Ships shortly after launch.

The problem

Merchants on the Shopify forums ask...

Can I make a bundle that charges a fixed set price once specific products are all in the cart? And separately, is there a true mix-and-match builder, "pick 3 for $99" style, instead of one static bundle product per combination?

Native bundle tools mostly work by creating a new bundle product ahead of time: a fixed list of specific variants at a fixed price. The moment the underlying catalog changes, a new color added or an old size retired, the bundle silently stops matching what's actually in the collection, and merchants only notice when a customer's cart doesn't total correctly.

How it works

How Stackable solves it

Screenshot coming soon

Planned: bundle editor with a collection-based rule instead of a static product list.
01

Define the bundle by rule, not by list

Point a bundle at a collection or tag instead of hand-picking every variant, so new matching products join automatically.

Screenshot coming soon

Planned: bundle type toggle between fixed-price set and mix-and-match pick count.
02

Choose fixed-price or mix-and-match

A fixed total for owning the whole set, or a "pick any 3 from this group for $X" structure.

Screenshot coming soon

Planned: storefront mix-and-match bundle builder showing a live running total.
03

The storefront bundle builder updates itself

The picker reflects the current catalog live, no manually rebuilt bundle product when inventory changes.

Recipes

Use it like this

Scenario

A homeware brand sells a 3-piece collection (bowl, plate, mug) and wants a $150 total instead of $165 when a customer buys all three.

Setup

Planned: bundle rule scoped to that 3-product collection, fixed total = $150, triggers automatically once all three are in the cart.

Result

The $150 total will apply the moment the cart contains one of each item, and will keep working if a new mug colorway is added to the collection later.

Scenario

A candle brand wants customers to choose any 3 candles from a 20-scent collection for a flat $99.

Setup

Planned: mix-and-match bundle scoped to the candle collection, pick count = 3, fixed price = $99.

Result

Any 3 scents from the collection will total $99 at checkout, and a 21st scent added later will be eligible without editing the bundle.

Scenario

A merchant currently maintains a separate bundle product per combination in a native bundles app and wants to know what changes.

Setup

Planned: replace the static bundle products with one rule-based bundle scoped to the same collection.

Result

One rule will cover every combination the static products used to require individually, and new products in the collection will be included without creating a new bundle product for each one.

FAQ

Common questions

Is bundles available now?

Not yet. It's planned to ship shortly after launch. This page describes the intended behavior honestly, not a shipped feature.

What's the difference from Shopify's native Bundles app?

Native bundles are defined as a fixed list of specific variants. Stackable's bundles are planned to be rule-based, scoped to a collection or tag, so the bundle stays current as the catalog changes instead of needing to be rebuilt.

Will mix-and-match bundles support a "pick 3" style structure?

Yes, that's part of the planned first release: a customer picks any N products from a defined group for one fixed price.

Can I combine a bundle discount with a volume tier?

Bundle stacking will follow the same explicit stacking-group model as every other offer type, so you'll decide whether a bundle can combine with a volume tier or stay exclusive.

Install Stackable and start with Bundles

Every offer type runs on the same server-side engine, so whatever you combine, the checkout math holds.
